Builder, developer, and owner in two of the most demanding residential markets in the country.
Martin Kribs spent forty years leading design and construction in Aspen, Colorado and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, markets where the clients were sophisticated, the architects were serious, and the tolerance for excuses was zero. Over that career he delivered roughly $750 million of resort and custom home work, carrying projects through every phase: land, entitlement, design, construction, marketing, sales, and operations. His first owner's representative engagement came in 1998; he has worked the owner's side of the table for nearly three decades since.
That range is the point. Most construction advisors have built but never developed. Most development consultants have modeled but never built. Martin has signed the personal guarantee, negotiated the contracts, run the jobsites, managed the subs, sold the product, and operated the result. When he reviews your pro forma, your draw request, or your contractor's change order, he's pattern-matching against decades of having been on the other side of that exact document.
Today he lives in Philomath, Oregon, where he is developing Buzzwood Village, an 18-unit micro-resort, and runs a focused advisory practice: owner's representation for architect-led projects, development advisory across resort, commercial, residential, and institutional projects, and construction advisory for capital that wants verification instead of promises.
